What you should know about Shelburne Golf and Country Club
Shelburne Golf and Country Club is a picturesque 18-hole golf course located on the western edge of the Niagara Escarpment. Playing enhancements were completed on four holes in 2007, water hazards and fairways, to speed up play and provide greater visual definition to the bunkers, along with the addition of 400 trees. In the last few years 9 new tee decks, were brought into play adding to the challenge for the lower handicap, adding 230 yards to the course, long-hitting player. The professionally-designed course plays over easily walked terrain with silica sand bunkers and six spring -fed ponds providing a challenge to all levels of golfers. Also, the automatic irrigation system was expanded to improve the overall condition and playability of the course.
